Kimberley Frith-Delisser

I am a dually-qualified lawyer in Canada (Ontario) and Jamaica, and I have close to 10-years of dedicated trademark law experience.

While I love all areas of trademark law and protection, I have particular fondness for clearing trademarks for use and registration, prosecuting trademark applications (especially the difficult to register trademarks) and advising on trademark opposition and cancellation matters. I also frequently assist with creating commercial agreements related to the ownership and use of trademarks.

I am proud to claim a strong track record of success in assisting clients with quickly stopping the unauthorised use of their trademarks.

From my earliest days in trademark law, I have managed worldwide brands and the trademark portfolios of several multinational corporations. This experience has helped me develop the ability to walk clients through transnational trademark related matters, and I have also built a strong network of able trademark professionals across the globe to assist with our clients’ international trademark needs.

I also enjoy keeping up to date with developments in Canadian trademark law, and when something new arises, you can be sure I will blog about it. I’m also an active member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada, Toronto Intellectual Property Group and Women’s IP Today.

Whenever I am not protecting trademarks, I enjoy spending time with my husband and chasing our twins around. I’ve taken quite a few Latin dance classes in my spare time and thoroughly enjoy Caribbean soca and reggae music.
